A highlight of Go North 2010 was a fantastic writing workshop delivered by playwright, director and teacher of writing, Sandra Shotlander! Well, she’s back in 2011! If you missed the workshop last year, or want to brush up on the skills you learned in the previous workshop.. you would be mad to miss this fantastic 3 hour workshop!

ABC Open – The Moment Behind the Photo
ABC Open is coming to the GO NORTH FESTIVAL in Swan Hill to run free Moment Behind the Photo workshops.
In these workshops people will use personal photos to tell their stories about something funny, a big event in their lives or a story that sheds light on the history of the Swan Hill region.
Once you have the story behind the photo, ABC Open producer Lara van Raay will record your story and show you step-by-step how to turn that photo and your audio into a short film.
You don’t have to have any computer skills at all. You don’t need any film making skills either. These workshops are designed for beginners, so everyone can take part.
