leading professional artists in workshops ranging from Music Theatre and
Bunraku Puppetry to Hip Hop sound creation. The Fairfax Festival is an entirely

Great photos make for great stories.  ABC Open is offering free workshops for people interested in sharing their story for the latest project called The Moment Behind the Photo.

Do you have a personal photo
from your own collection that has a great story behind it? Maybe you vividly
remember the moment it was taken, or what was happening outside the frame; or
maybe there is something captured within the image that speaks volumes about
that time in your life.

Bring this photo to the workshop and we’ll record the story behind it in a short video which is then shared with the rest of Australia through the internet.

You don’t need computer or film making skills to attend these workshops as the local ABC Open producer Lara van Raay will show you how to make a short film with your photo step by step.
