In 2011 we are proud to announce the Youthspective Photography Competition and invite young people [12 - 18] from across our region to enter their photographs.

The theme for the competition is My Community From My Perspective’
We want your photographs to be about the thing you like best about the community in which you live – the photographs must be your original work– so think outside the square, surprise us with your ingenuity, and have fun creating!

How do I enter?!

Email  shlib@swanhill.vic.gov.au – put ‘youthspective’ in the email title and attach your photograph. Or bring your picture into the Library.  You need to tell us your name, age and the title of the photograph and let us know how we can contact you [email or daytime phone number].

We need to recieve your entries by 5pm on Monday 10th October.

Conditions of Entry

1. You may enter as many photographs as you like. However each entry must be treated as a new entry with photographers name, age, the title of the entry and daytime phone number.
2. Photographs can be submitted via email to shlib@swanhill.vic.gov.au.
or in person.
If submitted in person at the Swan Hill Library, photographs must be A4 in size and have photograph details written on the back of the entry (no frames please).
3. Colour or black and white images are acceptable.
4. The closing date for entries is 5pm Monday 10 October 2011.
5. Swan Hill Rural City Council, the Swan Hill Regional Library and the Go North Arts Festival will not accept liability for loss or damage to any work submitted.
6. Entries may be used in publicity for the Go North Arts Festival. Photographs of the winners together with their names and ages may be used in publicity where the parents or guardians of the winners have given their consent.
7. All personal information supplied will be used solely for the administration and management of the Swan Hill Regional Library Youthspective Photography Competition and not published or shared with any third party unless we gain your consent.

8. All hand delivered entries are to be collected from Swan Hill Regional Library between Wednesday 3 November and Saturday 6 November.
9. Winning images may be selected for use in print or on the Internet for Swan Hill Rural City Council publications.
